Hello and thank you for visiting!
My name is Sam and I'm from Welland, Ontario, located in the heart of the beautiful Niagara Region in Canada. I discovered my love for singing at age 16 and began to study voice and sing competitively. Before I decided to pursue it as a career, I attended university and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in French with a minor in Criminology. In 2012, I graduated with honours from a respected Canadian college from their Musical Theatre Performance program and began working in the arts.
I have since performed in many musicals, both community and professional, and in 2018 I produced my first solo performance called This Is Me: Unplugged. In 2019 a follow up performance took place entitled Connected. Both performances shared a focus on mental health and well-being and in both instances a donation was made to two local charities.
I am a versatile mezzo-soprano belter and as much as I love to belt out powerful tunes from the 1970s and 1980s and 1990s, I also love creating stripped down versions of popular songs. I sing acoustic originals and covers of country, rock, pop, Motown and more, with a little something for everyone.
I look forward to collaborating with singers, songwriters and musicians across the country in beautiful unique venues and spaces to create incredible and inspiring Canadian music.
