ABOUT

Hello and thank you for visiting!

My name is Sam and I'm from Welland, Ontario, located in the beautiful Niagara Region, Canada. I discovered my love for singing at age 16. Before I decided to pursue it as a career, I attended Brock University in my where I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in French with a minor in Criminology. In 2012, I graduated from St. Lawrence College's Musical Theatre Performance program with honours and began working in the wonderful world of musical theatre.

I have since performed in many musicals and, in the fall of 2018 I produced my first solo show called This Is Me: Unplugged, and in 2019 the follow up solo performance Connected, both with a focus on mental health. For both shows I made a small donation to two local mental health related charities.

I am a versatile mezzo-soprano belter and as much as I love to belt out powerful tunes from the 1970s and 1980s and 1990s, I also love creating stripped down versions of popular songs. I sing country, rock, pop, Motown and more with a little something for everyone.

I look forward to collaborating with singers, songwriters and musicians across the country in beautiful unique venues and spaces to create incredible and inspiring Canadian music.
